Last Saturday, I had the great fortune of representing Ramblrr at the SOS Village here in Karachi, with an IBA-based social outreach program, Spread A Smile.

The SOS Children's Village is a home for orphans, and social orphans, which aims to provide and environment as close to home, and instils the confidence in these kids to have them realize their full potential.

I've been there twice in the past, and it always warms my heart to see these kids, with their undying energy and vigor. These beautiful souls instill me with renewed hope every time I meet them

Two of these precious souls are Meena and Rizwan, brother and sister, who told me they'd skipped school that day to help us set up for the event and aid us in making their schoolmates' day special. They decided to help us with the balloons- they pretty much filled up all of them by themselves- and joked about how lazy we'd all been. I absolutely loved how warm and welcoming these adorable kids were. And not to mention, CUTE.

Next up, everyone’s favourite: Alishba! Look at her, I mean, how can you not fall for those ecstatic eyes and that adorable smile. This little girl knew how to win over everyone with her charm, and literally she went on like a teddy bear, from one person to next. Such an adorable little teddy bear, I swear! I asked her quite a few questions and each time she’d look at me and just burst into laughter. I really wish I could spend a little more time with her.

Okay, now that we’re done with the three kids who literally won my heart, let’s move on to the other cuties I didn’t get the chance to interact with, and they were also very camera shy, and some of them were just plain shy in general. (click on the image for details)

If you want to fall in love with the beauty of the world, I really recommend that you visit the SOS Village. The children over there renew your faith in the joys of little things like nothing else, and trust me, you really need that. We all do!
